How to Build Independence in Kids

In America, to build independence in a child is one of the most important things a parent should do. Here are some ways in building independence in kids.

First, parents give their children a certain sum of money every week so that they could use it to buy something they really like. From this, the children will increasingly get responsible for their own spending.

Second, parents encourage the children to use public transportation. They do not always take your child to school in a car. Let them learn how to go by bus or subway.

Third, parents allow the children to choose their clothes. Let them choose and the parents still have the right of final decision.
